Company History
Originating as Custom Truck Sales, LLC, Custom Truck & Equipment launched its operations in April of 1996 as a family-operated business. We had only one mission at that time – to utilize our knowledge and expertise in chassis modifications and customizations to provide our customers with the best vocational trucks specifically suited for the jobs ahead. As we have grown, so have our goals. We now strive to become the best one-stop source for truck and equipment buyers in the country.

While we remain the best one-stop-shop in the telescopic boom truck business, we have also become the largest. As the largest boom truck installer in the country, customers responded to our huge inventory of trucks, and in May of 2003, the families operating Custom Truck Sales, LLC purchased its assets and became the family-owned business known as Custom Body, LLC. Since that time, our operations evolved to include a huge inventory of new, used, and rental work trucks, cranes, and construction equipment, in addition to truck sales and body building. To better showcase our variety of products and services, we changed our name in 2005, and now operate as Custom Truck & Equipment.
